Having grown up in an athletic family, sports and weight training came naturally.  I have been an avid powerlifter since 1990 and recently placed first in the Super Heavyweight class at the Toronto Powerlifting Open, receiving a gold medal.  In 2004, I began competing in Strongman contests at the intermediate level.  Soon after, I moved to the pro level and eventually qualified for Ontario's Strongest Man.  In 2005 and 2007, I was ranked 12th overall in Ontario.  I have also competed in various International Strongman Invitationals.

Throughout my sports career, I have had the pleasure of training and competing with world class athletes from across North America.  I have also worked as a personal trainer and currently coach novice to advanced strength athletes. I have learned the relationship between a coach and his or her athletes, is one that is cherished for life.  Frank Quinn is my long time coach and friend; our relationship is one that I endevour to have with the athletes I train.  I enjoy mentoring and participating in the development of athletes, both young and old.

Sports and weight training are a way of life for me!
